The LIAG has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Swiss-based company GEO2X for cooperation in the field of high-resolution reflection seismics. The MoU defines framework conditions for future cooperation on the topics of groundwater, geohazards, geotechnics and georesources, which are thematic priorities at both institutions. In addition to joint projects, the MoU enables the exchange of data, reciprocal guest visits and the transfer of knowledge in the form of jointly conducted workshops. Research results are to be published jointly. GEO2X was founded in 2002 and today has branches in several countries. One focus of GEO2X is on the further development of geophysical measurement and evaluation technology.
