The heat transport in a geological reservoir is essentially determined by its porosity and permeability structure. The objectives of the geothermal system analysis are the development of reservoir models and the understanding of various processes that are essential for the use of the reservoir. This is the fluid and heat transfer and changes in reservoir conditions during use, such as permeability and stress changes.
For many years, LIAG has been operating two publicly accessible information systems in order to enable external scientists and engineers to use the geological and geophysical data available. Both information systems are accessed via a web GIS interface with a browser. The user interface is optionally available in German or English.
