Understanding Palaeozoic orbital climate forcing the Earth’s climate
We would like to establish a research cooperation on understanding Palaeozoic orbital climate forcing, and the Earth’s climate response to climate forcing with shorter precession- and obliquity periods.
Because of complimentary but related expertise, we would like to initiate a long-term cooperation. A great amount of outcrop data is being generated at the China University of Geosciences through many BSc and MSc theses. The modelling and borehole data analysis expertise of the LIAG (C. Zeeden, T. Wonik) can supplement evaluation of these datasets.
This proposal is meaning to initiate cooperation, with exchange of PhD students being anticipated for the future.
This is to initiate personal contact and cooperation also for joint proposals to the Sino-German Centre and specific calls by National and European Agencies.
