ENTFÄLLT! LIAG-Seminar: The Dynamic Deep Subsurface of High-Energy Beaches (DynaDeep) – setting up a monitoring system on Spiekeroog

Der Vortrag entfällt und wird im Herbst 2022 nachgeholt!

The talk was canceled and will be made up for in fall 2022!

Vortragender: Nico Skibbe

The research-unit DynaDeep focuses on physical and biogeochemical processes in the subsurface of high-energy beaches. LIAG is engaged in the P1 subproject of DynaDeep and focusses on detection and monitoring of the salt- and freshwater interface conducting geoelectrical measurements on the island of Spiekeroog. These ERT monitoring data are investigated and supported by direct push measurements and daily measurements using a vertical electrode chain (SAMOS) and will be jointly inverted across spatial and temporal scales to provide a detailed image of the dynamic change of the salt-/freshwater interface over the course of 3 years. (English)
